Katey Huggler and Katrina Lopez Successfully Defend!

Congratulations to Katey Huggler, who successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, and to Katrina Lopez, who successfully defended her MS thesis, last week! The title of Katey’s dissertation was “Feast or Famine: Interactive Effects of Life-History, Nutrition, and Behavior on Performance of a Long-Lived Herbivore,” and the the title of Katrina’s thesis was “Linking Summer Nutrition to Behavior and Performance of Black-Tailed Deer.” Katey is moving on to an IDFG-funded post-doc position at the University of Montana in June, and Katrina has already been hired into a permanent position as an Assistant District Wildlife Biologist for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Congrats to you both!
